At TheShilpkala, every marble artifact is carefully handcrafted and inspected before dispatch. Due to the nature of stone craftsmanship and custom detailing, our policies are designed to balance fairness with product integrity.

We accept returns or replacements only in specific cases, as outlined below.

Eligibility for Returns & Replacements

Returns or replacements are accepted only if:

  • The product arrives damaged during transit

  • You receive a wrong or defective item

  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery

To be eligible:

  • The item must be unused

  • It must be returned in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase (order ID / invoice) is required

📸 Clear images or videos of the damaged product and packaging must be shared for verification.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the handcrafted and delicate nature of marble products, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-made or personalized marble artifacts

  • Slight variations in color, texture, or natural veins (these are natural characteristics of marble)

  • Items damaged due to mishandling after delivery

  • Items reported after 48 hours of delivery

  • Sale or discounted items

Replacement Policy

  • If damage or defect is confirmed, we will offer a replacement of the same product

  • Replacements are subject to product availability

  • If the same item is unavailable, store credit or an alternative solution may be offered

Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only if:

  • Replacement is not possible

  • The product is returned after approval

Once approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • Processing time: 7–10 business days (bank timelines may vary)

Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

Shipping & Packaging

  • All marble artifacts are securely packed to minimize transit risk

  • Return shipping (if applicable) must be done using a trackable courier service

  • We are not responsible for damage during return shipping if not properly packed

Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order

  • Orders already dispatched cannot be canceled

  • Custom or made-to-order items cannot be canceled once production begins

Natural Stone Disclaimer

Marble is a natural material. Variations in:

  • Color

  • Veining

  • Texture

  • Minor surface marks

are not defects, but part of the stone’s natural beauty and uniqueness.
